Who should attend

Most people are interested in a good story. There is always an underdog that finally made it, is always a good story to tell. Look at slumdog millionaire, a poor boy with no background made it big. Real stories like how bill gates build his empire, or how warren buffet do it are always interesting to hear and gets people’s attention. Powerful story is design for the participants to find their own stories and to get familiar with the art of story-telling.

The following fundamental skills will be acquired in this program:

  • The 4 parts of story telling –consists of mainly 4 parts which are Opening, Main, Transition and closing. However 2 methods will be explored, the 4mat and the 5 why.
  • Get Real – Is broken down to 2 parts for participants to full grasp the concept and to apply them immediately.
  • Solid tones – Here participants are though of vocal tone and range. Verbal and Non-Verbal communications, body language and language of influence.
  • Working the Room – Its about creating the Ambience, engaging the audience and handling questions.

Program Outline

Presentations
  • Understanding the 4 main areas of presentations

 

Speak It
  • Immediately apply what they have learn by using the 4mat.

Each participants are given a specific time to speak in front of the entire class.

 

Activity :  Speak IT

Learning Outcome : It is to get participants to get familiar with the format of the presentation and not to remember scripts. Hence enabling them to apply it onto and topics in the future.

 

What is your Volume?
  • Understanding how to use your voice and how to project it so that it is clear.
  • Participants will immediately see the differences in speed of speech and tonality.

 

 

Carving your Story
  • Practise makes perfect, it is about getting the participants to present to 1 another to get familiarized with their own story and to handle tough questions.

 

Activity : Immersive Stories

Learning Outcome : Participants will immediately grasp how they can use their story to move their audience.

 

Body language on zoom

What type of body language to use on zoom and in a face to face. Internalized the skills

 

Handling Questions
  • Questions and Answers sections is the best time to reinforce what you have share and to further deliver your message across. Here participants would also learn how to get the audience to ask and not be shy.

 

Words Emphasis
  • How to say the same sentence with a different meaning. Word emphasis works both ways, the way we say it and to listen out to customer’s word emphasis.

 

Model the Masters

Case Studies, Brain Storming & Presentation Planning, will also use powerful leaders as case studies, and how to model after them for more impact during presentations

Trainer brings 18 years of sales experience in various industries, to share with the participants. Sales examples given are real scenarios which had happen. Making the learning realistic and applicable.
Training is delivered in a highly interactive and experiential way. Concepts and background information are presented through group exercises, discussion and activities creating an environment that facilitates accelerated learning and application.
The trainer will facilitate discussion of real issues and challenges that the participants face in their work and private lives. Each activity will be thoroughly de-briefed to link the learning to real life situations.
