Mental Health Awareness and Coping Strategies

The prevalence of mental health concerns has been significantly increasing in Malaysia amongst a myriad of population including children, young adolescent students, working adults, parents etc. Identifying and getting to know the importance of mental health may assist one in being mindful towards this neglected area. Creating awareness for oneself and for the people around us is one of the first steps into managing one’s mental well-being. This session shall introduce the importance of mental health, explore the signs of common mental health conditions, and provide simple yet effective coping mechanisms that can be practiced by everyone.
